Grades 4 to 5
'There's a Rumble in the Jungle'
Primary School Festival - Grades 4-5
Space Available: Full
May 6-8, 2016
This festival is open to students in Grades 4 to 5 at GWA. This year we have space for 10 students to join in the fun at the United World College - East Campus right here in Singapore!
Overview:
The bustling city of Singapore sits in an area of Asia where there is an amazing diversity of animal life. But there used to be so many more. Tigers used to roam freely in jungles that have now given way to skyscrapers. With many of these animals seeing their natural habitats endangered by mankind, zoos are now the only place these magnificent species can live safely. What stories might the animals have to tell us? What messages should we be looking to pass onto future generations on behalf of these beautiful, wild animals currently under threat?
Out and About (Field Trip):
Students will be taking a field trip to the Singapore Zoo!
