'Digital Footprints'
Middle School Festival - Grades 6-8
March 11- 13, 2016
This festival is open to students in Grades 6 to 8 at GWA. This year we have space for 5 students to join in the fun at the Australian International School right here in Singapore!
Overview:
Singapore is at the forefront of technological change and there are many ways in which this technology can enhance performance. This festival will aim to bring awesome digital technology and urban architecture together. Cultural history and tech working in partnership to tell traditional stories or explore the city's rich history. Leading to outdoor performance work that is site specific, incorporating large scale projections, light and sound.
Out and About (Field Trip):
Part scavenger hunt, part discovery, part performance - this trip into Singapore’s urban landscape will utilise mobile technology as student groups explore the city.
